Free Healthy Eating Series at Trinity Lutheran Church
We are all familiar with the adage, “You are what you eat.” So, what should we be feeding our bodies? Join Trinity Lutheran Church as it sheds some light on what and how to eat during a free three-part series on healthy eating.
On Thursday, July 13 at 7 p.m., Heather Rudalavage, a registered dietitian and owner of Intuitive-Nutrition.com, will present “Mindful Eating 101.” Rudalavage will delve into the definition and practice of mindful eating, and how it can help you achieve and support a healthy weight.
The series continues on Monday, July 18 at 7 p.m. with a presentation by Aura Carlson, a certified integrative health coach and child development consultant, who will speak on “Food and Behavior.” Carlson will explain how food choices affect daily functioning and behavior, particularly in children.
The last presentation takes place Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. PennyPack Farm Board Member & Nutritionist, Kirsten Puskar will talk about the importance of vegetables in your diet and how eating more greens can help you attain a longer active life.
Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 235 Summit Avenue in Fort Washington, PA. We will meet the airconditioned sanctuary.
