We believe that shining the Light of Christ through love and service to our neighbors is at the heart of everything we do. We accomplish this by having a close relationship with Christ through worship, prayer, and Bible study.
We are an ELCA Church. For more information about the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, click the ELCA logo.
on the front lawn
begins Sunday, September 27!
Bring your lawn chairs and pick your spot because worship is moving outdoors!
This informal half-hour worship service will include God's Word, a message from the pastor, prayer, and music but unfortunately no singing.
Please wear a mask and sunscreen.
Sit 6ft apart from your neighbor. There will be bright orange markers to guide you!
If you wish you park along the curb and remain in your cars with a window or doors open.
We will broadcast the outdoor worship service simultaneously at 10:15 am on Zoom.
If you have never been to a Zoom meeting, the host will sign-on and then you can join by following the prompts. You may or may or may not use the video if you wish. However, the host will be able to talk and hear you either way.
Zoom room opens at 10:100 am
Here is a link to show you how to join a Zoom meeting:
In the case of inclement weather...
A decision on whether the service will be held outdoors Sunday morning will be made by 7 pm the Saturday evening before. You may receive a phone call if you are on the phone list, or you can check this website for the information.
Wednesdays are Koinonia!
Koinonia is a group time together centered on Scripture, prayer, and life's challenges. It is a time to be enriched, connect, share concerns, perhaps vent, with one another in a relaxed setting. Join me Wednesday mornings at 11 am or Wednesday evenings at 8 pm.
The next series is from Augsburg Fortress' Animate series on Faith.
Each week we explore another topic. We'll watch a video from a presenter followed by a discussion. Here are the topics and presenters by week:

We have neighbors who need food. Mattie Dixon's Community Cupboard is asking for donations. Click the food box icon to be taken to their specific needs page.
Donations can be left on our church's front porch and these donations will be taken to Mattie Dixon's Community Cupboard.
