We Can Make a Difference!
Children Helping Children
August 17-21 9 am- 12:15 pm Registration is now open!
What the Children will be doing
In addition to learning Bible stories and verses, making crafts, learning new songs, eating snacks, games, and generally having a blast, children will learn the importance of being a part of a community of caring for others. They will have "hands-on "experiences through service projects that will give them the joy of giving and doing for other children and families in our community.
We do this with community partners that are already doing this important work. Some of our community partners are:
Interfaith Housing Alliance -providing shelter and new homes for homeless families with children.
Kencrest- providing educational and counseling for families
Linus Project- making blankets for children who are hospitalized, or in need of comfort.
Mattie Dixon's Community Cupboard- bringing food to those in need in the Ambler area.
Silver Springs-Martin Luther School- caring and educating children who struggle with challenging issues.
